Carbon Shovel

For my Arctic Solo expedition, I’ve developed a carbon shovel that is sturdy even at the lowest of temperatures and extremely lightweight. The longer handle can be used as a paddle; a built-in steel edge makes it even more robust. The shovel is used every evening to build a wall around my tent, to make snow blocks to melt for water – and if necessary I can also use it to paddle across open water. An object for the highest demands and an absolute necessity.
